Whats up guys! Week 1 of training camp has finally come to a close. The lord has been revealing himself to me in crazy ways and Im confident that Im exactly where Im supposed to be.

Each day typically consist of morning devotions followed by worship, a few sessions with a speaker and then we have a time to debrief with our squad. We haven’t even hit the field yet, but let me tell you that my faith has been tested and transformed in ways I had never expected.

The worship atmosphere is like nothing Ive ever experienced. God has humbled me at his feet, putting to death my pride so that I can lift up my hands in praise and fall to my knees in reverence of the king, unhindered by the fear of indignity. Ive seen people get miraculously healed and witnessed the holy spirit alive and active, shattering my mind to bits. The community here has been incredible, and the leadership has never failed to create an eager student out of this previously “I know everything” christian. Just when I had thought I was getting fully grown and matured in my faith, I have found myself in a space where Im challenged to reshape my understanding of this life with the Lord. It’s crazy that this is only the beginning of this insane adventure and I cannot wait to keep going. On a less serious note, Ive picked up some swing dancing since being here and me and my squad have created a skyscraper of hammocks at our campsite (pictured below).
