Embarking on the World Race Gap Year August 2023. Eighteen years of age, wrapping up my senior year at First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, VA. The opportunity to have the adventure of a lifetime while I figure out what to do next was an unbelievably appealing idea that I couldn’t resist! Having no real solid plans for the future, the race felt like a perfect next step for where I am in my life and in my faith.

Now about me! Overall, I’d say I’m a relatively reserved guy, would probably be considered creative to most people that know me, and I enjoy learning new things about myself and about the mysteries of creation. Currently, I’m really involved in YoungLife and I lead Wyldlife at the middle school I graduated from. Apart from that, when I’m not at school or work, I might be chillin on the beach listening to music or trying to pick up a new hobby to do in my free time (currently hacky sack). I hope when I’m a wise old man I can look back and see a life full of crazy adventures but for the time being, I’ll keep enjoying the rest of my short adolescence. I’m grateful for all the people I’ll get to meet on this journey and for the beautiful views I’ll get to take in along the way. Life with Jesus is an unpredictable escapade, and to a romantic like me, that is what makes following him so exciting.

A few things I dabble in:

film photography, camping/hiking, sandwiches, artistic endeavors, reading, tea/coffee drinkage, casual athletics, impulse buying things I don’t need on ebay, the color green, strawberry milkshakes, wearing hats
